I've noticed the same. It feels like they either flattened things out towards 75% success (i.e. bad patches >50%, good patches <98%) or added in more good patterns. Interested to see the data whenever it's collected.

So your opponent will always be hitting Shield Form.

Kings Shield is priority so you use that; protects you that turn + defense form.
Next turn they attack your Shield Form, then you switch to Blade and attack.

I am a big, useless baby who cannot comprehend guides on breeding IVs from dittos and require massive hand-holding to understand it.
Currently, I own 5 dittos with perfect IVs in every area between the 5 of them. I'm in the process of getting every power band now, but I haven't yet quite grasped how the mating is supposed to go down

Assume I'm breeding with the ditto and a female ferroseed (if i can). If I give an attack knot to my ditto and they produce an egg, will that resulting baby have the genes of the father? How do I stop the next ditto from overriding the old genes on the newborn baby?

I'm really slow at this but any help would be appreciated

If a pokemon is holding a Power item, that specific stat will get passed down to the offspring 100% of the time.

You have a 00/20/15/31/05/25 Ditto. Have it hold a Power Lens (SPA), the offspring will always have 31 SPA, no matter what. Every single egg will have 31 SPA IV's.

The rest of the IV's are determined by a different mechanism.

All you need to do is use the radar in a patch of grass you want to pokemon in, and go inside the patches of grass that shake the most, if its the pokemon you want, kill it, chain 1, now repeat 39 more times.

Reset a fuckton more than you think necessary. Seriously, the best way to get long chains is to reset until you are absolutely sure that one patch has the maximum chance (~98%) of being right. Chaining should be breaking your bank if you're doing a lot of it and doing it right.
