Does the Friend Safari Zone have a higher rate of shinies or something? Third fucking shiny I've found in there, none in the main game though

It must, I have two shiny gabites.

Just hatched an Eevee from MM. It's a blue sylveon and fights alongside my regular pink one. It's great!

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but.. How do you operate the pokeradar? I want to try chaining in the friend safari for shinies but every time I go to use the pokeradar it gives me that "not the time to use that"..

They totally fucking do. I've found 4 in there and I've only ever found 1 other shiny in my life and that was in Sapphire.
