Fairy is useful in theory but there aren't enough decent Pokemon with the type to be useful. It'll definitely give the older pokemon who gained it a spike, maybe even push Gardevoir up to OU, but it's not going to change too much in the long run.

It depends on the rest of your team then. Do you need a fast special attacker? Scarf it. Do you need something that can take hits, but also dish out heavy damage with Hydro Pump? Bulk.

It gets two attacks for every one attack.

To put it another way, power-up punch is a 70bp swords dance. Hyper Beam has 550 BP, with absolutely no boosts aside from STAB.

Chandelure is probably the best counter. After that there's Azumarill or Talonflame with Brave Bird and Gale Wings. Aegislash is also excellent if you're good at predicting and can use King's Shield.

There's no "probably" about it, they speed tie unless someone opts to not maximize speed for whatever reason and not all people do that on Chandelure since Modest is appealing. Blaziken just wants to go as fast as goddamn possible.

don't put too much into attack. She has great defenses and you won't need much in attack any more because of her Huge Power ability. Spread them out into attacka and either Def or S.Def and the rest in HP

from what I'm reading, the Large Gourds are good as attackers, the small ones are better as sub-seeders/rapid spin blockers. Though I believe most people are going to opt for Defog to remove pebbles this gen.

Just add on thunderbolt for bulky waters and fire blast for steel-types not named heatran/empoleon (which you shouldn't be facing in RU) and you've got a decent specs sweeper. 85 base special attack isn't a lot but at least it's got 140 base hp for some balk, right?

There aren't nearly enough fairy pokemon or attacks for it to mean shit. If Game Freak was gonna introduce the type they should have done it right. 70 new pokemon? Fuck, they could have added at least 10 more faries and brought the count up to 80.

Marowak, thick club gives it 160 base attack and it gets amazing coverage with 2 of the elemental punches. And of course it is slow as shit.

A second trick roomer is always nice, Supersize ghourgheist could cover for your tyranitar and its defensively bulky complimenting reuniclus.

Or you may want to chuck in a speedy clean up in case it all goes to shit but their team is low, something like weavile or ambipom goes well for this.

if your defenses are maxed then you can take damage with less HP, meaning you'll be getting a higher % of HP back with leech seed.
I see what you're trying to do with venoshock but just use sludge bomb. or protect/sub for more stalling.

I think they're only missing nukes like Outrage and Draco Meteor or some sort of utility move like priority but aside from that I think they were lucky enough to get two 95 BP moves on both physical and special side. If you want to be a tremendous ass you can do something like Rest/Sleep Talk/Dragon Tail/Body Slam. You'll basically be a foolproof phaser who can threaten good physical damage and paralysis to the enemy team.

Something with more offensive capability would likely require Wish or Grass Terrain support.

With all the Dragon/Ground or Flying Ice Beam is superior. Pure Dragon besides Goodra aren't a threat I don't think. Anything else one of your other ML boosted moves should provide neutral coverage for, hence Ice Beam seems to be the superior choice for SE coverage.

Besides that though, what's the best way to use this guy? EV train him in HP/SP.ATK, give him a speed hindering nature, and throw him in a trick room?

I was also thinking assault vest but I haven't grinded enough BP to try it out yet.

That's pretty much the only way I can see it really taking off.

Assault Vest requires you taking a blow for a one stage increase, and with that speed, you will need Trick Room to keep running. I think Life Orb will be more consistent and easier to use.
