Currently trying to start a chain for shiny Pinsir, fucking difficult, I keep getting fucking chatots and slowpokes.

Any tips/tricks? Does tipping the camera men work or is that just a rumor?

also Shiny general.

This surely can't be right.

They wouldn't put a way to get shiny pokemon which has rules to follow if they just randomly decide to stop it. I think if you follow all of the rules then you are good...BUT we don't know all of the rules yet and maybe won't until someone looks into the code.

Actually, even in Gen IV Chaining shinies is a very delicate, not 100% accurate business. Sometimes you luck out, sometimes you do all the right things and there's still a slight chance that perfect patch will contain a fucking Bibarel that breaks your 38 chain and makes you want to kill yourself.
