can they learn it by level? all mine are at lvl 1 and none of them have phantom force. it says only gourgeist can learn it at level one. thats why i was going to evolve them till one of them learned it.

If you're breeding, you're going for maxed IVs anyway so I don't see that being a problem. I guess you could spam rare candies, use the serebii calc and then reset.

You can only intimidate once, and if it's not the mon you're facing you will need that extra bulk.
M-Mawile's not an all out offensive mon, it's got power, but it's still mean to out bulk and soak hits from the opponent, if you got Mawile with no Def you could be in for a shitty day.
Also, a defensive Mawile could run the over powered Huge Power Foul Play, to make up for lack of attack and shit on almost anything.

I disagree, without an attacking nature and attack ev's it has 430 attack with max attack it has around 680 attack the difference in power is just to big to lose on something so fragile already.

imo the best way to play mawile is to scare pokemon out with intimidate and the threat of suckerpunch and use substitute on the switch

This hits home really hard for me.
I'm glad she is dead. At least for now, from what I managed to grasp.
Favorite so far, she looked like a bitch at first, but she is not so annohying and actually funny. She also has the biggest hair/plot ratio.
I haven't decided yet. but it will be one between Heliolisk, Dragalge and Goodra probably, might still change. If you have a favourite between those I will go for it.

current setup is aggron with thunderwave and filler moves (GET RID OF PROTECT) holding a power bracer so it can paralyze after the transform then switch into a ground type and use earthquake to get it to 1hp (aggron has sturdy)

any item that slows your aggron is fine, and having non attacking filler moves is useful in preventing imposter ditto's twave you first turn.

if dittos capture rate is still based on what it transforms into maybe something super easy to catch and just using repeat balls might be quicker but i haven't looked that up yet.

Brave is better. You'll be able to sustain a fair amount of hits while you Swords Dance, and then just Shadow Sneak. Kings Shield to return back to Shield Forme. It's more effective than maxing out its speed

Of course, people have their own sets to run but I think SD/SS/KS works effectively. But if you wanted to run a special set god forbid you would obviously choose another nature.

Well it depends if you've starting EV training your Adamant. Also it depends if it has decent IVs or not. You could take your chances and re-breed for a Brave, it'd be beneficial in the end.

But it's up to you, Adamant will be fine as long as you're not running any special moves.

I can't appreciate neither of them until I understand their reasoning for all this.
So there is more focus on the 'students characters'? I was fearing and already hating the opposite, so many stories do this, it's like a curse for the main character's best friends/familiars.

Well, I've fully EV trained it (252Attack/252HP/4Def). Haven't /actually/ trained it yet, though. Perfect speed and Attack IVs. I'll probably stick with him for now, though. I don't think I could stand Super Training another one in such a short amount of time.

I just bred that Scyther, it took a fuckload of time because I nly got Fem Joltiks in the first 4 eggs
Joltik had only Bug bite in its movepool, the Scyther had x-scissor, Night slash, double hit and air slash. The baby Scyther doesn't have Bug bite and it has Vacuum wave, quick attack, leer and Night slash.
Did I do something wrong?

The only Ditto I have to work with is a Serious Japanese one (with mediocre IV's).

I do, however, have Timid Protean Froakies, Impish Skarmories, Timid Noibats, Modest Skrelps, Timid Gastlys and any item up until the sixth gym (including Venusaurite).
