Is there anyone out there with Hustle Nidoran (M and F)? I want a Sheer Force Timid Nidoking for my party. Been looking since release. Can anyone help?

If not, is Poison Point/Rivalry really that bad competitively?

Everyone of them I've caught in a horde doesn't have Hustle. I read that Honey helps attract hordes, is that right? Are there other ways? Is there any way to help attract a Hustle one, or do I have to keep on keeping on and hope for the best?

Grab something with sweet scent. Always triggers hordes. Combee on Route four and ilumise on Route 7 can be caught with it.

Also a ralts or something with trace will help you figure narrow down which ability each has.

That will only tell me what nature that the first one has though, right? if I swap ralts out after knocking out the one it traced, will it trigger Trace again?

Just a heads up, Nidoking got an Attack stat buff this gen, he went from 92 to 102, so if you're going Special Attack (which is why I assume you want Timid) thats probably not a good idea anymore.

Oh that is really good info thank you, I only just got into the game this afternoon with just a lvl 28 forgadier in route 5, am I close to finding male nidoran or should I ask /vp/ to trade me and male and female and hope for an adamant boy?

The attack buff is worthless.

His SF boosted Special Attacks still do more damage than his SF boosted Physical attacks, and his primary physical STAB doesn't even get the boost.

Go for Naive or Rash if you want to go mixed, otherwise stay with Timid/Modest.

There isn't much his physical movepool covers that his special doesn't.
