I don't want to be that guy who always has to complain about something, BUT, these new changes that have casualised breeding to the point where anyone can make a flawless Pokemon in a couple of hours have sucked the remaining bits of passion that I had for this game straight out of my soul.

Back in 4th gen, when Diamond and Pearl had just been released, good IV'd Pokemon actually meant something. It meant you had put a lot of effort into something and gotten something back from it. Mind you this was before the Pokesav revolution, but even when everyone and their mums were hacking Pokemon it still felt good to breed a legit, near-flawless Pokemon.

Now, with the Destiny Knot mechanics, with hatching power, with everstone guaranteeing that the nature gets passed down instead of a 50 % chance like in 4th gen, breeding is so disgustingly easy that it doesn't even feel rewarding anymore.

I've gotten so many flawless Pokemon ever since the new breeding mechanics were revealed. But what's the point of breeding Perfect Pokemon if everyone can also it, in just a matter of hours?

Breeding was the thing I enjoyed the most in these games, and now I can't even enjoy it anymore. It's not possible.

On a sidenote, I can't even enjoy battling anymore. You'd think being able to breed a flawless team would be great for battling, but how is battling fun when most Pokemon just suck and you just see every Jap use the same Pokemon, with the same movesets every fucking time you battle?
