Reasons for Z:
>X, Y, Z axis. The only other common X and Y reference is genetics, but GameFreak confirmed that the games weren't about those.
>Zygarde is found in a cave. Giratina and Kyurem were also found in a cave in the original games.
>Zygarde has the same battle theme as Xerneas and Yveltal, confirming a legendary trio.
>More Pokes should get mega evolutions, though I guess this can be done in any new Gen 6 game.

>Anti-hero-mysterious sort of character who doesn't have a name, instead is referred to as AZ. Eventually enemies with Team Flare. (Similar thing happened to N)

>If too many people anticipate Pokemon Z, GameFreak will say "lel we made XY2 to troll all the people who thought there was gonna be a Z" (They made Black and White 2 because many people suspected a Grey version)
