So since EV training is so casualized now, i decided to give it a go, and its not working out to well. All the pokemon ive bred for IVs/Trained for EVs so far still seem incredibly underpowered. Am I doing something wrong? Im asking this because my Shuckle who has max IVs and EVs in Sp.Def and Def just got 2 shotted by my friends random Quagsire. Also, to clarify, do I need to level up my pokemon on their own to raise their stats? Because I was under the impression that the level scaling in WiFi battles would scale my pokemons stats as well, but considering how weak they seem to be, im starting to doubt it.
