Using this guide (pic) I could get a Modest female Ralts with perfect IVs on SP.ATK/SPEED/HP but some anon said that I should go full autism and get myself a 5 perfect IV Ralts so I start breeding my 3IVs Ralts with a Ditto that have Perfect DEF/SP.DEF but I am only getting bad 2IV Ralts and I wan to know if 5IVs is really rare and will take more time that it already took (1hr).

Yep. I have a similar issue with my Honedge (SpD/Spe) and Ditto (HP/Atk/Def). Did the math and it's just under 1% of getting the five specific IVs needed, but that shouldn't take very long. No more than a day at most, and the probability of getting the desired stats only gets better as you get better parents.

I just kept going til I got one with 4. Had one with 2 in the daycare with it. Eventually that created a suitable one with 3 i then traded out the two with. Not long after I got one with 4 IVs so I had 4 and 4 and got a 5 IV Heracross within 3 eggs at that point.

If you name them properly with their IVs, you can manage really well. Just moved on to scyther now. Couldn't get a safari ditto, so had to just start with a 3 IV ditto and a shit scyther as a base. I'm edging closer now though.

1% oh my god. I'll try one or two more hours and if I don't get anything better I'll have to go with the 3IVs Ralts anyways. You know, something like how you give a bad car to someone who's still learning to drive.

Well, it's 1% to get five specific IVs from two parents, assuming their stats don't overlap. The chances of getting perfect eggs gets much better as you get parents with more perfect IVs, as Lee said.
