Thanks for the info OP, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't work in BW/2. Smogon cracked the rng pretty hard for the DS games, and they never found any evidence of chain fishing to exist.

Doing so I then ran a few tests to see if my chain record was going up, and it wasn't. So, I believe it's safe to say saving breaks the chain.
