Malamar would still get annihilated by a STAB Shadow Sneak on that 88 defense. Topsy Turvy doesn't like, steal status, just reverse them, but you'd have to use it first. Also, Aegislash is immune to Superpower, and in Defense mode could probably tank a Night Slash or two.
