Has Critical Capture made a return in XY? I haven't seen any news on it, and being such an insignificant bit on capture, I doubt anybody cares.

Also Capture General.

Yes, some of the NPCs comment on Critical Capture being in the game.

I haven't had it happen myself though.

Eeyup, it happened to me once when I caught a Binacle.

I got it lots of times. Since I catch every different pokemon you can find in a single route before moving on, the chance of it happening to me only increases.

I think they fucked up the capture formula. Nothing wants to go into a goddamned pokeball anymore and the ones that are supposed to be easy are way too easy. you can throw a regular pokeball at the box legendary and it will go right in.

I caught Xerneas with one Premier Ball. And when I accidentally found Mewtwo I flipped my shit, ran out and bought like 60 Ultra Balls, went back and caught him on the second ball.
