People will attempt to cry "muh patterns" all day long, but the truth is Gamefreak has never come out and acknowledged or mentioned any official definition for what classifies a Pokemon for pseudo status.

Goodra still breaks at least one so-called "pattern" by not having an immunity due to typing, even if he does get Sap Sipper.

Those are all Pokémon with a BST of 600.

With Pseudo-Legendaries. Each first, second and third evo has the exact same BST as the first, second and third stages of its fellow Pseudo Pokémon. Goodra fits this criteria.

Just about every accepted pseudo has broken some sort of perceived pattern.

Tyranitar broke that it must be Dragon, but doesn't necessarily count because you can't establish a pattern with just one individual.
Metagross and Salamence broke there can be only one for each gen.
Garchomp didn't really break anything.
Hydreigon broke that it must be reliant on physical attacks.

The point being, any sort of pattern is arbitrary and determined by the fans. The distinction that a pseudo must have an immunity is just as arbitrary as any of the other patterns that had been broken in the past. The classification of "pseudo-legendary" is in fact entirely fan-based. So, all we can do is to modify the rules we use to classify each of these while attempting to include any new candidates. So far, that just needs to be 600 BST and three stages.

Every generation has given us some three stage late-game creature with a BST of 600.
It's not "MUH PATTERNS", it's the same as how Legendary Trios always have the same BST as other trios.
It's an observable constant.

DLC in the way that Shaymin or Genesect were, except this time data isn't in the cartridge for them, they'll be downloaded through the 3DS.

Data mining hasn't happened for the games yet, so they could still be there albeit unknown. In fact creating new Pokemon as DLC would be a huge mess because they would need to create everything about a new Pokemon from scratch, transfer it to each game cartridge, and then have a way for updated games to give the new data to games that haven't updated in order to ensure compatibility with individuals who don't have access to online.

Requirements for pseudos:

1) 600 BST
2) You have to be able to breed it (and not Manaphy-Phione breeding, breeding where you get the same pokemon line as the result.)

I agree that truant/defeatist/slow start or any new kind of shit ability would completly miss the point on a pseudo. If 600 with truant is a pseudo-legendary then Slaking is a pseudo-arceus or something, because he is a regular pokemon that clearly surpasses all the pseudos and most of the legendaries.
