Fire blast already destroys ice, and steel types. And solar beam destroys rock types. So you would be keeping focus miss around for normal and dark types. I'd rather take dragon pulse.

And air slash is also redundant coverage, take either tail wind or roost.

I used the fuck out of Charizard in Gen V.
Go Fire Blast/Solar Beam/Dragon Pulse/Air Slash.
Focus Blast was good, but Solar Beam outclasses it, and you only lose super effectiveness against dark types (not reallt a threat). D pulse is better because its less expected. Air Slash is fun for flinch hax, and Charizard dies so easy that there's no reason to waste a slot trying to recover hp or gain speed.
