How does Destiny Knot actually work? I'm having a bit of trouble understanding it now that I started breeding with it. I thought that the holder of Destiny Knot passes down 5 of its IVs to the baby but obviously this is not the case. Just to clarify: I was breeding for a Litwick with 31 Special Attack and Speed. One of the parents was a Ditto with 31 SpA and Spe holding a Destiny Knot. Out of the 9 babies, only one had 31 Spa and Spe, one had 31 Atk and the rest had 31 Spe. The other parent was a Timid Litwick holding Everstone so it was just passing down the nature, I have no idea about its IVs.
