Sup /vp/? I'm looking to make a team of mythological Pokemon, not legendary but with legends surrounding them. So far I have Arcanine, Ninetails, and Absol.

Once I get a list going I'll figure out what I want on my team, but I'd be interested in reading about some Pokemon mythology.

froslass is based off the japanese yuki-onna

shiftree is based off the japanese tengu

the ludicolo evolutionary line are all based off the japanese kappa

jellicent are based off the nurarihyon, a demon jellyfish youkai

and of course lucario and zoroark

maybe relicanth?

Yeah, looking for more in-universe stuff (figured that if I was a trainer in-universe, I'd probably catch and train mythical Pokemon), but Sableye is the shit and I might make an exception for him.

I hope he gets a cool mega - seeing as his counterpart got one, he's probably due for one in Z or whatever else may come.

Froslass is great, I'll have to pick one up. Shiftree and Ludicolo are both pretty cool but I probably wouldn't want to train them. Lucario and Zoroark are both pretty cool as well. Thanks for the help!
