Look at the tile Lapras is on. If you go to that location in the game, it is a sparkly tile. It also fulfills the requirement of 2-3 non-fishable blocks.

I can say only this. The corner method is for reel chances only.

It is a lucky spot. Merely superstitious in nature, but it helps to ensure that if you do not have suction cups. You are given a better shot.

I have caught four shines today alone. If that helps my credibility.

I've had chains of 128 and 110 and I haven't seen a single shiny. I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong since they're registering as legit chains with the fishing guy on Route 16. I'm fishing in the shiny-looking spot under Ambrette town, if that means anything.

with super rods, you will get qwilfish the most. if you want a cloyster, dragalge, i would suggest going with a good rod. it will give you only shellders/skrelps which you can then evolve.

Fish a lot in the same place without moving and without ever pulling the rod in early/late or not having anything bite. If you catch a lot of Pokemon consecutively, your chances of finding a shiny is increased.

Every spot is fine its just some rocky spots mean you don't have to use suction cups so you can use a Sync Pokemon to have a shot of getting a decent nature.

I've caught corsela, octillery pollywag,clampearl, and a skrillo usin the chain and I started yesterday night and been doing it for about 3 hrs max for all of them and even accidently killed a shiny pollywag so I had to catch another
