So can anyone explain to me simply how to get perfect IVs?

I've been EV training for some time and will even breed for a certain nature but I have no idea how to get the right IVs.

All I know is checking them with the guy in kiloude city and the thing about the destiny knot.

alright, fuck IVs, did they change how EVs work?
Because last I checked, it was 510 total with 255 in one stat max
but I have two stats maxed on my pokemon, and it's telling me my pokemon isnt fully trained
so what?

yep. and with hordes super-duper training rendered useless. like 50 evs at once with pokerus and power item. it never been so easy

I don't believe there are any comprehensive breeding guides for Gen VI, but I know that Friend Safari Pokemon have great IVs, normally.

Aside from the friend safari, go catch a bunch of wild baby pokemon. They're guaranteed to have 3 31 IVs, so evolving one so it can breed with a parent from the friend safari makes it even easier to get good stats.

After catching a bunch of mime jr.s in reflection cave and a bunch of safari abras, I was able to breed a "perfect" abra in only about 30 to 45 minutes. Once I got the appropriate power items and pokerus, EV training only took about 15 minutes thanks to hordes.

It's amazing how much they've really streamlined the whole process this gen.
