Same set. They are both egg moves, but from different parents. Both mom and dad can pass down moves in X/Y.

BD + AJ is going to be very overrated. He ends up with 50% HP (not counting any entry hazards) and is still slow even with Aqua Jet so he gets out prioritied.

CB Azu, on the other hand, is damn near uncounterable.

Depends on what it's locked into.

If you're not using aqua jet, you have shit speed.

If you are using Aqua Jet, I just send in the many bulky water types we have in the game.

Azu 2HKOs most bulky Waters/Grasses with Play Rough and it still always has the option of running Return/Double-Edge if it wants.

My Shiny Azumarill didn't reach Belly Drum since I was too busy getting an Adamant first so I'm stuck with Choice band

Honestly I don't think you need to run any speed EVs on Azumarill. If you decide to run them your main target to outrun is Scizor.

252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 in whatever is fine.

Keep in mind Giga drain, the way you would get through jellicent is a gen 5 tutor move, not sure if you can breed it onto him in gen 6.

Breed that one with a ditto with good IVs, until you get a female with good IVs. And then breed that with a poliwag with belly drum, then breed that with a Buizel with aqua jet, until you get a female. And then breed that with your good IV marill.
