So this is the thing. I want to play through every Pokemon game. I've already played half of them, but my gen1/2 consoles and games are...gone/missing/probably broken/wouldn't work if I found them.

So I had this thought. What if older games were rereleased and sold retail or for download on Nintendo's store?

I mean, the capability is there. I have a bunch of games from previous consoles on my 3DS.

I know that certain mechanics from gen 1/2 are now different so they'd have to change that, but they were fine with doing that for Ocarina of Time 3DS.

I wish pic related were an actual thing.
