I prefer X, myself. There are plenty of better spec sweepers in the game, and weather's much more underwhelming than before. Meanwhile X is the only non-legendary fire / dragon, has GREAT damage / speed, can learn dragon dance and retains a pretty great sp.atk stat for something like Overheat. He's pretty much the ideal mixed sweeper.
