Why are half the Mega Evolutions garbage

I mean Solar Power Houndoom? Intimidate Manetric? Mold Breaker on BOTH Ampharos and Gyrados? Skill Link Heracross? Pixilate Gardevoir?

All fucking trash, and then you get Shadow Tag Gengar, Parental Bond Kangashan, Adaptability Lucario.

Why is Gamefreak so shit and lazy? They should have made a unique ability or given an OP ability to every Mega

Kanga is creative, but unfortunately it's the only one.
There's too few megas in the game with one (imbalanced) event one so far, so we don't know how many will be events or even if it will help balance out Pokemon or make the gap wider.

M-Gardevoir's Hyper Voice can break through subs which is actually really useful if you can deal with the drop in BP compared to Moonblast.

Does Ampharos/Gyarados learn EQ? Mold Breaker would be a nice bonus to hit Levitators with EQ, especially pre-Mega Gengar.
Houndoom could find a nice niche on a good Sun Team since, after all, it IS a mixed attacker all thing considered.

Yeah most of them are trash though. Personally I wish M. Gardevoir got a good ability, maybe a fucking Steel Abosrb? I've got nothing.

I'm still betting that there's going to be an event Gardevoir that knows Boomburst. Now THAT is something I'd like to see. Breaking through Subs and killing Dragons with 140 BP off of a 165 base Sp. Atk.

If I were a chick, I'd get wet just thinking about it.

Mega Kangaskhan always surprises me. I had a battle some time ago where I accidentally picked 3 Pokemon instead of 6 due to habit from BW's Flat Rules. The first 2 got knocked out by Charizard Y before even making a scratch on it, but Mega Kangaskhan came in, prompted a switch after a Focus Miss, set up Power Up Punch on Tyranitar and proceeded to take down 3 more Pokemon on her own. A Talonflame burned it though so Kang wasn't able to one shot Sucker Punch the enemy Mewtwo, and she fainted due to the residual damage from Burn and Sandstorm but she could've easily taken down the whole team on her own if it weren't for that.

Volt Absorb, Motor Drive and Wonder Guard.
Though with the former two the owners are all Electric type and resistant to Electric already anyway other than Lanturn so no reason to use an Electric attack on them.
