Not everything needs to be a fucking puzzle. My friend pointed out how many gyms in XY were just built into a wall. It kinda makes sense for the rock one, but they could've still done better. It is hard to go back to the old gyms after shit like Cheren, Roxie and Elesa's gyms. Hell, the very first gym in the game could've been amazing, but the second you get into a battle on the spiderweb that lackluster white default battle area comes up instead of a cool spider web background. What a blunder. At least the gym leader battle had a proper battle ground. I did like how that gym trapped you until you beat it, although that might've been cruel for a first gym.
>>15058878Forgettable gym leaders? Winona. Don't remember her? Neither does anyone else, except for being the failed prototype for Skyla. Even the air battle wingsuit females in XY are more memorable than Winona, and that's saying something. Hell, she's a female so she should be remembered through porn at least right? Wrong, there's barely any of her because she's overshadowed by literally every other female gym leader of her generation. Hardly anyone cares about Winona. It is almost like she doesn't even exist.
