>>15075059Rock/Dark is probably the worst type combination as long as it's not on Tyranitar. I honestly don't think it even cares about that Fairy weakness, since it has even less of a reason to feel Special Attacks this Gen thanks to the Assault Vest, and the only relevant Physical attacking Fairies already had SE STAB moves to wreck Tyranitar with when there were only 17 types.
OU is also pretty much devoid of Sand Abusers in BW2, with Sand Veil, Lando-I, and Excadrill banned.
In exchange, T-tar benefits from Fighting, Bug, and other Weather getting nerfed, and the fact that it has the most Physical bulk of any OU Ghost resist. Plus it Pursuit-traps Flinchrachi. And it can actually partner with Dragonite without necessarily ruining Multiscale.
