So had anyone had any success with Mega Mawile online?

So far I've bred a [31,x,31,x,31,0] IV spread and now I am only missing the attack. Of course it will be part of my TR team.

Initially thinking of the moveset Sucker Punch, Iron Head, Play Rough, and Rock Slide. Thoughts or comments?

Of course, I'm still building and haven't had the chance to battle yet. I just prefer having mostly accurate move, Play Rough rustles my jimmies enough.

With huge power it is insane, which is why i won't use sword dance, I rather choose rock slide for fire coverage especially against charizards and volcarona.

Too bad its HP stat is still a base of 50.

Well I have had tons of success with a core of Salamence, Mawile and Vaporeon. Vaporeon gives them wish support and further covers their perfect defensive synergy

Hot off the press, my only 5 online battles, all featuring M-Mawile. Vs the Jap is a pretty tense battle. I am a noob so probably doing it wrong, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Play rough is awesome, as is SP and Iron head, I actually forget what my 4th move is I think its crunch and its likely getting replaced, preferably with a priority move but I cannot think of any

I faced one aswell, in this case poor M-Mawile had to be a noble sacrifice to win the game, well that was the call I took and it payed off in the end, might have been able to go better with a swap but I did not want to risk it.

Its why I want someone to point out mistakes I made, I am still new to online battles, as in today is my first time and I think I did ok but upon looking at them I think I could have played a bit better.

The game Where Locke (My Mawile) sweeped an entire game 3-0 was very satisfying.

He is my fav mega and I hope to keep using him, hope is is competitive enough in the long run

Well, the speed is not really redeemable although I would take 4 Speed instead of Special D.

Only to outspeed other mawiles seeing as the general consensus is to put those 4 points into SpD.

I've had some great success with mega mawile and some less than successes.

Megawile has a time and a place and can absolutely steamroll or just kind of die.
Here, I've got a good example around here
I'm kind of retarded, losing 2 of my guys to a really bad prediction on my part, but megawile just kind of kills everything to make up for it.

Attack is debatable because with Max IV and EV with huge power can get you a 344 attack (estimated) in mega form. Great physical sweeper. But then again you may want to use EVs on def or SpDef, Its honestly your preference.

I'd say put it into att for the rest, because mawile is about killing in 1 hit, or it'll die, so it really needs all the power it can get

High risk high reward. It works often enough though. The only thing Id do instead is make sure I have perfect IVs, which I dont, and maybe dump the full 252 into hp rather than splitting it. Hopefully the speed boosts would compensate.

Does anyone have a decent female Mawile? I'd like to breed with the Masuda method, and I have a male Mawile with 5 IVs at 31, but the only Ditto I have is shit, so if I actually tried with it, the whole thing would go to waste.

Base 50 Speed is JUST fast enough, with max investment and neutral nature, to outspeed base 130s under tailwind. It's also just slow enough to kill really fast things under trick room, should I need it.

Thoughts? I've been using SD/Play Rough/Sucker Punch/Iron Head, but I'm not sure it's the best moveset. Too bad I can't really test it...
