Picture this scenario: You're against X physical sweeper [say Chomp] and he keeps quaking your every mon one after the other.

That's part of it... you need to have a composition that isn't weak to one type so much, regardless of roles.

I'm finding Focus Sash more useful overall from my experience, that way he can take a turn to set up even when facing Pokemon that OHKO him under normal circumstances, and with most of his EVs in Attack or Speed his bulk isn't enough to take more than one hit most of the time anyway

He's been an extremely effective sweeper so far

Where? In hordes it's hard to tell which one has a hidden ability unless you're using something like role play or skill swap. In Friend Safari I've had a good rate of getting hidden abilities, plus there's no time limit or nothing, aside from patience and how many pokeballs you have.

My dusknoir is a trick room setter-up with weakness policy. He usually goes first, gets hit by SE move, gains massive attack power, uses trick room, goes first next turn with EQ/Ice Punch/Shadow Sneak (might change that) and KO's most pokemon outright or severely hurts others.

It's absolutely fantastic when it works, although not the best when it doesn't. Could take a nice status move inplace of shadow sneak as it's not very useful most of the time. And yeah, sloppy sloppy after that. Honestly, I thought you would one-shot anything after two sword dances, so I just tried the mawile sucker punch thing. Had I known Clawitzer can take a hit I would've sent him out first. Anyway, good fight, learned things. 's all good. Bravest Bird is the best.

desirable natures are generally careful/calm/brave
frisk is their only "useful" ability sadly IV's are obviously as good as you can get them with emphasis on HP, SpDef, speed and attack generally

Ive got a ton all the way from only one or two 31's up to 4x working on 5x right now all supersize, all careful, most with frisk
for the 2 and 3 IV I dont really need anything, if you want a four, Id ask for at least a little something, safari dittos are great, synchronizers are great

I have one-shot every single Greninja and Gengar/Mega Gengar so far with my talonflame. He is 31 ATK, Adamant and obviously max EV trained in attack too with Life Orb. He slaughters things.

The bulk up is mostly for fighting against Aegislashes, I discovered with one bulk up I was able to survive a sword danced shadow sneak and kill the 'slash in return in a few matches. Not sure about if you stack 'em twice on each sides. Choice band is a great choice too, but that does limit a bit. I had U-turn for a while too, it's a pretty decent move. Steel Wing is nice too, but most faeries die to Brave Bird anyway and the few steel ones get Flare Blitzed.

I'm not sure but mine has Adamanyt 31 Ivs in Atk and and max Attack evs and they usually survive at least 1 bravebird.Must be your Greninja.Or it's choice banded/Life Orb.

IV breeding is 10x easier this gen than it was before. I have four larvitars with perfect HP atk def spdef speed IVs, which took me all of an afternoon to breed up.

There's a setting in the pss options to enable it, though the other person needs to accept to it before trade, and most people don't use it because of the issues it presented in gen 5.
Also I'm sure that there are many people that play with their sound off as I do, so voice chat just becomes an unnecessary feature.

yep. Destiny Knot on the father and everstone on the mother guarantees 5 IVs are passed down and guarantees the mother's nature passes on. combine this with the fact that you get pokemon with 2 perfect IVs in the friend safari, and you can get perfect IVs very quickly if you have a friend with dittos, or the particular pokemon you're breeding.

That, and inbreeding and switching up parents.Basically, you want to breed two good mons from the friend safari (mother with the nature you want holding an everstone, father holding a destiny knot) until they have a kid with 3 or 4 perfect IVs. Then, you breed that one with another poke with perfect IVs in stats other than the ones it has. Ideally, you'll eventually have two 4 perfect IV pokemon with coverage on the stats you want (for instance, a physical sweeper you don't need to worry about special attack, so you make sure your perfect IVs are in everything but special attack, with one having a perfect sp def and one with a perfect def and both having perfect HP atk and spd, for instance) You then breed them together until you get perfect IVs in the stats you want. Optional is continuing to breed until you have two 5-perfect stat parents and breed up spare 5-perfects while rolling for that last perfect.
