So yeah, maybe if you're going for full on perfect battle mode, ball type matters since it conveys certain information your opponent may or may not use.
Another thing I would consider adding to the OP is Flame Body users and how to get the final Hatching O-Power, as these are both very important in creating an efficient breeding system. Might also want to add that central Lumiose is the best place for pure hatching.
