VS Recorder codes?

I used to be more into collecting/etc Pokemon, but with EV training and breeding made more accessible, I've started to play random battles too.

My first 5 competitive battles ever. So dont go in expectin greatness.

Cant find the code for the one where I sweep a M-blaziken team with 3 turns, was funny as hell one shotting his whole team. Would not make for an interesting vid as these though

This person beat me the first time because i stupidly thought victory was assured in a 3v3 but the Noivern i gave her started Roosting and flinching me to death so i lost.

Had a rematch and i made another mistake by only picking three pokes (was wanting to use my Shiny Clauncher instead of Venasaur but i forgot to put it in my battle box) I thought i was going to lose for sure but it was still a great battle because of how tense i was.

If you can beat the Battle Maison, there's very few people who could touch you. It literally cheats, it alters the RNG in the AI's favor.

It feels that way, but that's because the circumstances are unfair; you're expected to win strings of battles undefeated, while all real competitive pokemon involves laddering because randomness is simply a factor.

The game can afford to throw dozens upon dozens of luck-based teams at you, because those strategies might be statistical losers but it doesn't MATTER; if you get beat by just ONE, it fucks you.

It's confirmation bias. I know, I ragequit B2W2's Battle Subway absolutely CERTAIN the game cheated, but the hackers who figured out the game's damage formula have picked apart the code in play at the Battle Facilities and they aren't capable of cheating. There is no code for throwing out a value produced by the Battle RNG if the game dislikes it.

It's confirmation bias, plain and simple. The problem isn't that the game cheats, it's that its "challenge mode" uses a poor standard for judging success, which is single-elimination survival play where you have to beat a string of opponents who aren't punished for losing. You have to play conservatively and against broad threats, they can be narrow in focus and afford to gamble on high-risk-high-reward playstyles, and it stacks the odds against your win streak.

But then, did you happen to catch the Showderp where we put Metronome on a mon and champ used it, on the verge of defeat, only to have it call up Sheer Cold, and to have that Sheer Cold connect and OHKO the opponent?

That's like, a one in a million chance, and if it happened in the Battle Maison, you'd smash your DS in rage and disgust at the cheating RNG.

But it happens. Mathematically it's BOUND to.

But it never happens in YOUR favor because you've got to win a streak; you can't count on odds like that to CONSISTENTLY win. But when you can afford to pack garbage because losing doesn't really hurt you (whether because you're an NPC battle AI, or because you're trolling the Showdown ladder for shits and giggles) you WILL see that type of shit.

You can get quick claw chains, too. Problem is, you can't afford to pack a quick claw on the off-chance, while the AI is more than happy to.
