Hey guys,

I just ordered a 3ds and Y version off amazon. Should I just rush the game to get to the post game to start breeding/safari(ing)? Is there anything you wish you did before you started the end game? Any tips? Thanks

Turn off the Exp. Share and don't use Blaziken in your playthrough, or otherwise you pretty much automatically rush through because it's so easy.

Just enjoy the game and take your time.

Does the exp share work differently in this version? Is it not a helmet anymore?
I'm just seeing all these shiny perfect Iv/ev threads and you guys look like you're having so much fun. I just want to have fun.

The Exp. Share is now a Key Item and gives every Pokemon in your party half the exp.

The Exp. Share is a key item that gives full experience to all battle participants and half to everyone else. Keeping it on the entire game will have you outlevel everything.

Just enjoy the game while it lasts. You'll be spending more time breeding and safariing afterwards anyways.

exp share is automatically on entire party, terribad for EV training.

I'd try not to rush the story, if you dont like the breeding/safariing, there is literally nothing to do in the end game.

Shinies are handed on a silver platter, as is almost every pokemon in the dex with safari...

Take your time because all you can do endgame is breed and battle so that can wait.
