/vp/ I want to know- which Battle Facility is considered the most painful to go up against?

Is it pic related? The only one I ever had real trouble against, you could barely make a dent there.

Couldnt beat it until 2013 (have challenged it since 01 on my GBC) when I decided to action replay me some perfect DV + full EV mons

I've gotten to the 7th and 6th battle before that though.

Hoenn's and Crystal's were hard, the former if only for Milotic.

After that none of them ever seemed hard, but probably only because I quit Pokemon after FRLG/before Emerald, and when I came back, I wasn't as dumb as I am now.

They still require me to put some slight thought into my teams, however.

Nope, not at all in Crystal, which sucks because the Battle Tower 'mon are guaranteed to have maxed stats, and good enough DV's.

I think your best shot is to catch Pokémon, plug them into an online calculator before you give them any Stat Exp, and find out their DVs. If they suck, they suck, if not, you're good. Then you still have to go through the trouble of Stat Exp training. I wonder if any super autists actually did that back in 2000 actually did all that shit.

What do you mean by stat exp training? You mean EVs? In Gen 2 you just feed them 10 vitamins for each stat and that is it.

In generations one and two they were called stat exp, and no, you can't just do that. That only brings you up to 25,600, while the maximum is 65,535 (a sixteen bit binary integer). You have to fight for the rest, since it caps at ten uses.

IDK the best Pokémon to fight against, but they were distributed based on the opponent's base stats. If you beat a Mew, for example, it would give you 100 in each stat. Defeating 656 Mews would cap out a Pokémon.
