Hey /vp/!

Gen 1 / Gen 2 player her (From way back)

I am looking to purchase a DS XL with Pokemon X. None of my friends play this game and I was wondering if anyone was down to help me out a little bit? I'm completely clueless when it comes to the new pokemon and I have no idea what's going on..
