I was wondering about that too.

I really like the West Sea form better, but I entered a friend safari and I found the East Sea form. Decided by version perhaps?

I mixed things up. West Sea is the one I found, but East Sea is the one I want.

Adding onto this, I checked the GTS for both Gastrodon and Shellos, and I've only found the West Sea forms so far.
