If I equip a macho brace and fight hordes, my pokemon will get 10 EVs per battle? And I can just use sweet scent, exp share and an area attack to clear them faster?

Macho brace multiplies by two.
Pokerus multiplies by two.
Power items add four before multiplication.
A horde has five pokemon. Usually they give one EV each.

You can only hold either a power item or macho brace.

Power item Pokerus w/ 1 EV opponent: ((1+4)*2)*5 = 50EVs

Macho brace Pokerus w/ 1 EV opponent: (1*2*2)*5 = 20EVs

You can get 60 attack EVs from the Trevenants and also 60 Sp Atk from Roselia

It's blisteringly quicker.

If I have one of the other items except macho brace
Does it convert?
I mean, if I use the one that increases atk by 4 and kill gulpins, will it convert gulpins hp ev to atk ev?

Gives evs into a specific stat in addition to the ones you get from the pokemon you're fighting. I think

specific power items give you EVs in that stat no matter what you fight. macho brace is the only one that changes with what you're fighting.

Sure. You'd want pokerus as well though for regular EV training.
