Not solving any mysteries here, posting here because last thread was dying/dead

I feel like that's a lot of people who know about it for it to be a sort of parallel dimension. None of them (to my memory) have really referred to it as if it's another dimension, outside of the waterfall (possibly).

Though, if I stop and think about it, with what the backpacker said about you'll see it 'in due time' makes me think it will just be an alternate reality/paradox/distortion world that's going to become accessible through DLC, as opposed to the popular theory which is the next game.

Honestly, we all know XY were rushed. GF wanted to jump on the 3D thing, and while it's a welcome upgrade, it's far from polished or complete. What I am hoping at this point is that moving to 3DS platform will allow each iteration of the pokemon games to live a little longer before the next installment. with the DS's they've been able to extend the life of the games with events and whatnot. Now with the possibility of DLC adding whole new portions to the game (or at the very least unlocking them) we could XY(maybe Z/remakes) last for quite a while before the next gen is released.

This allows GF to take their time on the next games and fully flesh out both the technical (fully 3D, more/better animations) and the story side of things.

All-in-all, while X and Y may not quite have been the games that everyone was hoping they'd be, the future looks very bright. Or, at least to me it does.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that I dislike the games. I'm loving them, it's just GF finally did a overhaul of a lot of parts of the games, and it just feels like there's some things that they missed.

Again, I staying optimistic about it and hoping that the future games will fill in the holes that were left in the rush to finish X and Y.

Ok, what I'd love to see is if someone on /vp/ who has gone crazy with Pokedex completion (I've seen a couple photos of people's dexs with 500+ on /vp/) go to the town cafés (meaning not those in Lumiose, and try to fill thier 'seen' dex as fast as possible, I know of at least 3 of those cafés, Anistar, Laverre and Cyallge have them. The $5000 option will always show you a mon you haven't yet seen, so those with mostly full pokedexs may have a chance of getting those hidden event pokemon seen in the pokedex in this way, right?

I knew they were going to be bare, it's the first on the system. What I actually got is way more than I thought I would, so I ain't mad. However, they really could have spent more time on it, y'know? I think it's bullshit that Doubles and Hordes are 2D. The NPC portraits don't bother me as much, because of B2/W2. We'll get the 3D models soon.

See that's the kind of stuff I am talking about. I love the games, it's just I run across stuff like that and It makes me wonder how much more time it would've taken. I remember getting out of Connecting Cave and running along the cliff towards Ambrette for the first time and wondering why it wasn't in the 3D.

Still, I don't understand how having these 4 pokémons could activate something there. At least in genIII there was a braille saying to carry relicanth and wailord, but here it seems a bit too criptic. Is there any npc that hints at something?

Mirrors / reflections are obviously a prominent theme in X and Y. What if one of the three "event" legendaries is a Pokemon you can only encounter by looking into a mirror. Like, it appears in the reflection only, then comes out and you battle it then or something like that?

top left is clearly a map of the garden.

at first i was thrown off by the fact that the top two rectangles in the top left image are longer than the botton two, but then i realized the same thing is true for the garden patches themselves albeit in a less noticeable fashion.

with that, it's clear that the dots indicate the statues and the little right angles are there just to highlight them, it looks kind of like some targeting crosshair.

what i don't know is why the two upper halves are connected in the top left but not in the gardens themselves. or what you're supposed to do at the indicated locations.

In theory when the 3ds is hacked someone could create a 3d model viewer/ripper for the content. Given that this engine is going to be around for a long time it would be feasible that future releases could be easier to document in this way.

So, the castle and the garden is based on Versailles, right? So I did a bit of research. Remember how a NPC in the game said something about certain times when the park should be visited? Look at this:

"According to Mukerji, the importance of the gardens to Louis XIV's reign was underscored by the king's direct involvement in how the gardens were to be laid out and experienced by visitors.
"The king had strict ideas on how visitors should see the gardens. The itineraries, penned by the king himself, prescribed where people should walk, how they should turn, what statues they should admire, and what views they were meant to appreciate," said Mukerji. "These promenades where no romps in the park; they were formal affairs with food and rest spots set out along the route. Nah, Kalos and Unova invaded Kanto and occupied it, which is why Kalos has tons of Pokemon shared with Kanto- they're not originally from Kanto but are introduced species alongside all the poison and artificial Pokemon who are leftover side-effects of the war. It's also why Kanto is full of crime and gambling, post-war depression. Some of the Unovan soldiers, like Lt. Surge, settled down there and tried to clean it up after occupation, which is why Surge's gym is full of trashcans- he goes out every weekend with his gym members and cleans up the town.

Meanwhile Kalos (and their ally Unova) got rich off of the war spoils and that led to Kalos becoming such a lazy, content paradise- and Lysandre, who was already a bit of a political firebrand, was disgusted with this and dug up his family "heirloom", the ancient weapon.

Double and Horde battles are NOT in 3D.

Go get in one and slide the slider up and down and see that they're not in 3D.

The reason for this (I'm guessing) is because the game would drop to 2FPS and be unplayable.

It's a map. It lacks the details that the other three have, they would make it totally obvious if it was a pokemon.

Since this had to have a practical use (Furfou), when they had to keep it simple and practical. The box markers are clues, I'm certain.

This, they look like the markers that you find in gen III when you select a city for flying.

Either there are items/secrets in four different locations N-E-S-W or there is one like pic related somewhere on the map or the garden itself

The four markers in the top left hedge maze point to Resh/Zek and the two Pokéball statues.
