Why does everyone keep on bringing up the idea of DLC? We don't have the game data mined yet. For all we know, we have another 70 Pokemon just laying in the data that we have absolutely no access to because they are native to the neighboring regions of Kalos and come after the Kalos legendaries in the Pokedex. Maybe those regions have their own legendaries as well (considering we pretty much got no new legendaries this gen, it would explain that as well. They're regional legendaries, so we won't see them until the new games show us the new other territory lords of this gen.)

do people honestly think that they'll DLC this game up? They may add small DLC here and there, but it's really doubtful that they'll add anything large. Most of what we don't know is probably already hardcoded into the game, but we just can't get to that information.

I don't know why everyone is hyped for a new game.
Whenever theres a new pokemon game all together, I feel like I've just wasted my money.

They've still yet to do any mystery ticket events or anything.
Theres more to what will happen in this game than what we currently see.
Shit, I remember no clipping through a pirated version of diamond and finding Shaymin and a bunch of other shit I didn't know existed.

Mystery tickets, events, and all that jazz that unlock new parts of the game.

"DLC" won't ever actually be a thing in pokemon. But events will. 3DS does internet updates constantly, so it would be so very easy to seamlessly slide in new content.

It reminds me of how Nintendo said they'd never do DLC but immediately did that golden coin DLC for that one Mario game. Things change. I'd personally pay for DLC, if it were reasonably priced. I'd say 5-10 for a new region DLC would be worth it.

Say theoretically Nintendo makes a second region accessible in X and Y as DLC.

It has Ash Ketchum rules where you basically have to leave your leveled pokes behind for whatever reason, but they'll be available again once you beat the game or leave the region.

It's not quite as long as the main game, but you can squeeze a good 20 hours out of it.

It has the new ~70 pokemon, which still work in the main game and can be traded to/used by people who don't get the DLC.

How much would you pay/would you buy it?

Considering the regions based on Japanese prefectures are canonically close to each other, & Unova (based on New York) is very far away from Kanto/Johto/Hoenn, I'd say the new region will be based still in Europe. GF still like to keep some semblance of real-world geography when it comes on regions.

The fact that berries are cited to come from other regions, but are still accessable to Gen 6 games, also makes me think we will get to visit new regions WITHIN this generation. I'm not sure whether this will be in the third version or in a spin-off title. Seems pretty obvious, but I doubt new pokemon will be added (unless they are already in the game).
