I want to get into breeding, but I don't really understand how IV's work, I don't understand how abilities are passed on, but I do get breeding for moves.

Does anyone have a guide or be willing to share me some information? I got my ass kicked this morning by a shiny protean greninja I'm tired of my semi-complete teams where I largely ignore IV's and abilities.

Not OP but I too would like a retards guide to the competitive side of Pokémon, for 6 gens I've completed the story and postgame and filled my dex but now I'd like to do more.

IV's are complete pure autism from gamefreak, and most guides on the internet are made from autists themselves and thus make no fucking sense.

OP, in simple terms

Get pokemon with good potential (check the stats rater in post game pokecenter) and do eugenics, breed two pokemon with good potential (IVs) and use destiny knot on one to pass IVs at random, then check the offspring with the stats rater till you get one that has "outstanding potential" and stop there.

Everything else is non sensical autism.

Who would post here as a first resort you fucking aut. Have you read some of the guides out there? They are riddled with inaccuracies as well as outdated information.

I don't think anyone has updated to Gen VI breeding information the best I've got is fucking Gen V. So here I am fishing for a pastebin or an infographic

IVs are a big lie told by the government so you believe if you spend more time on playing your Pokemons get better IVs from breeding. Every 930th frame ingame is advertisement for several products, from cars, to Snickers bars, to medical care, to insurances. The more you play, the more you get affected by those advertisements, you don't really notice them because they are just one frame long but still they are stored at your mind.
Stop breeding for good Pokés, stop spending that much time on getting your brain washed.
