>>15135906This is true. I love Talonflame but I was ready to write him off due to his low offenses, but his priority high-power Flying moves allow him to crush things. It has good coverage in OU and can threaten a lot of common Pokemon, and he can do other neat tricks like Swords Dancing on forced switches, setting up a suicide Tailwind before fainting, or (if he finds the chance) even priority Roosting to keep the rampage going. He works best in late-game to clean up the opposing team, Definitely a solid Pokemon all around: he's not crazy-powerful but he has a useful niche that he fills admirably.
>>15136079This is accurate too, though. I'm not sure he'll stick around in OU by usage. He's useful, but he'll be less popular when Blaziken gets the ban. Realistically taking all his pros and cons into account, Talonflame is shaping up to be a high UU Pokemon that has good utility in OU if you want to use him there. I just doubt he'll remain popular enough to crack into the usage stat percentages.
