you WILL get one.
You keep going, and the day that it does happen, it will be one of the greatest feelings ever.
i almost had a heart attack when my eyes shifted from the movie on my phone sitting on my chest and shifted focus to a red honedge, I almost screamed in delight.
But it was 5 am, so I had to hold it in, it hurt.
Just keep it up, you never know when the next batch just might be it.
Just make sure you're actually breeding it with the nature you want, or else you'll end up with with a pretty pokemon with no legs to stand on.

Got it a few after. Some get it after 3 eggs, some get it after they fill up their PC, release them all, and fill it up again. Watch youtube/netflix while pressing left/right. Just stick to it. And that mini heart attack you get when you see a weird colored pokemon. So worth it.

I started working on Chespin but gave up on that. Went to working on Larvitar because of the idea that old "fake" shinies from previous gens would devalue it. Now considering working on a shiny Pumpkaboo instead, but first I need a female super-size, but I already have the father lined up. I don't care about getting good stats or moves, I just like collecting. Plus I've never had a random shiny before, ever, so it would be nice to finally see that sparkle for once.
