Game Freak should retcon the Kanto Dex to 150 pokemon, and combine nidoran boy and girl into one pokemon with gender differences and split evolution based on said differences

You do realize if the Nidoran family gets retconned your Maximum Autism Drive will just shift into gear regarding Volbeat and Illumise, right?

So far the odd family out for mons with that kind of gender disparity is Meowstic.

I'd prefer they split them because they're already going to need to be treated as different mons ANYWAY in most cases because of their different movepools.

gamefreak should have bestowed new typing to mega venusaur and blastoise too. Mblastoise could be water/steel, and Mvenusaur could be grass/fairy.

You're wrong about Venusaur. They already gave him Thick Fat, which effectively eliminates his weaknesses to Fire and Ice. It's like he DID get a new type, one that makes specifically him tankier.

also, fairy would help solidify its dubious new role as a tank with no leftovers. dragon immunity, plus water/electric/ground/fighting/dark resists (among others) with negligible weaknesses could possibly make up for the lack of consistent recovery.

You do realize Synthesis is basically Recover when there's no weather, right? Which, now that there's been a nerf, is probably going to be more often. I run it on my MegaVenusaur. It's great.

And the point was that Venusaur has reliable recovery options. Did you even read the thread?

Because I love him and Dragon took a massive hit this Gen. ;_;

Adding /Fairy or /Poison or even /Water for that juicy STAB would've helped. Plus I want something for each of those type combos. Dragalge a shit.
