I ended up with Gourgeist and Umbreon, meanwhile a friend of mine gets Regirock and Eelektross.
If you don't know, you can go to the Battle Maison and select multi battle, then select "No" when asked if you want to team up with a trainer. You'll be directed to a list of all your 3DS friends [similar to the friends safari] all of which have two random pokemon set to them.
