I hatched a shiny pokemon but it turned out to be the opposite gender of what I wanted.
I saved right before hatching it, if I reset the game, can I attempt to hatch it again for the other gender?

Why would you name a female Gardevoir Ruka? Okay name for sure, but shrine maiden Mawile Male is LITERALLY as perfect as you can get for Ruka.

Stop wallowing, you pretty much got a perfect Mawile already. If it were any other name, then you could cry all you want about the nick name not fitting. But in this case, Ruka is perfect gender/ Pokemon fit.

Go to kiloud city pokemon center. There is a guy who will tell you your IV's and if he says "Stats like those simply can't be beat!" then the stats he mentioned prior are 31
