Small Pumpkaboos atm on Serebii have a spead of 55/85/122/58/75/99.
I went for 31/31/31/X/31/31.
Reason being is Gougeists are TANKS, physical hits are just sucked up and spat back out by em.
I decided to go with a subseeder since the Speed and Def are definetly there.
The fuckers seem to be a great choice to combat rapid spinners, and if all hope is lost they can fucking take the easy route and use explosion.
Not many subseeders are as annoying especially since these guys can learn WoW, which is absolutely crazy, even slapping that on an offensive set up would be crazy.

Nope, it seems they don't, or else I'd have 4 Frisky Pumprincesses.
I haven't actually looked at smogons sets much.
To make a SpA set I think you'd just swap the Atk for Spa, since you aren't really mixed attacking with these guys.
Although since you are going with Supersized maybe sacrificing Spe wouldn't hurt much either.
Although now that I think about it, a mixed attack Supersize Pumking sounds fucking terrifying.

well fortunately I have mixed sets too.. thing is, it's Spa is so fucking poor but its atk choices are also poor (thanks GF)

I have saved some quints back that have 0 speed specifically for the trick room builds, a suicide trick room lead with WoW explosion and many other options is scary as shit too.

I have a theory that you could use trick or treat to make a team partner immune to explosion too, but not sure how Id get that to work.

All in all lots of options with the little gourd, just trying to figure out whats best.

Noivern as your lead should get U-Turn, and maybe drop Super Fang for it? It's scouting, right?

Chandelure is a great choice, as it can laugh at Blaziken and deal immense damage. Choice Scarf to outspeed prominent threats that aren't scarfed is also a good idea. But Choice Specs gives it so much power mang.

Ferrothorn, I haven't played OU enough, but I know hes pretty popular for a few reasons, him with Chandelure is great and baits fighting and fire.

Azumarill, with the new Fairy buff he can also check Blaziken and with Fighting and Fairy coverage can check a whole lot of other things now too.

At the moment your team is still rather frail, Ferrothorn is the only thing that can actually take a hit. I guess Noviern can as well, but I don't know its EV spread. Another wall that can take hits that Ferrothorn can't, that doesn't require risking switching in one of your squishier checks/counters.

Yeah Noivern is meant to scout, U-turn might be a better idea then Super Fang, it just felt like a good move at the time (it's max speed/SpA) Scarf is mainly to outspeed buggers like mega lucario and the chicken.

The problem I have with choosing a bulky mon is that I'm used to a hyper offensive playstyle, ferrothorn is already way out of my comfort zone. Any ideas of something that has synergy with these?

Ferro/Chande/Azu were chosen because they cover their own weaknesses rather well.

My Jolteon has 6IVs but it doesn't have coverage at all. The HP is Dark, and the only TMs available for him are really just thunder moves.

Talonflame is to take care of Blaziken. Also my only source of fire.

Kangaskhan and Aegislash. I think one has to go. I really would like running both, but I don't think it's working out.

I don't know how to run Klefki as a lead. I just toss spikes until it dies.

My team feels pretty squishy and I feel like I can't get past walls. It needs a lot of improvement, but I don't know exactly what I should look into fixing.

I noticed right from the start you were a Hyper Offensive type of guy. U-Turn is a must then. As for your Ferrothorn issue, most of the defensive synergies are Fire/Grass/Water, such as Heatran and Jellicent, but you already have that core. Furfrou is new and can tank a lot of shit unsurprisingly, with his ability + his decent enough bulk. Plus he has T-wave which could slow down for something slower, maybe your sixth addition or something scarfed. It's great for utility and it has good bulk, plus it can switch in on ghosts. Plus you have fighting checked so nicely.

Hmm, I personally like Furfrou. You could try using Mamoswine, he has Earthquake + Ice Shard for priority on silly dragons. Another Fire bait for Chandelure, handles any Dragon. I was going to suggest him WITH Furfrou because of T-wave support and such, but meh. Hes still a good choice, as you have a few fighting checks/counters already. But to be honest the tier I play the most is NU, so as much as I hate to discredit my own advice, I'm not exactly the greatest of experts, plus with a new metagame on the rise, I'm trying my best tbh. ;_; I only know about the OU meta, I don't have much real experience. Sorry.

Hey don't worry man, I really like the suggestions you are making! Mamoswine is actually a really good idea. The problem with Furfrou on my team is, most of the moves it will be blocking are ghost type moves. Gengar and comrades run this, the thing is most of these ghosts also run Focus Blast.

Furfrou being bulky in the physical side can't really take a full power special fighting move that well.

I'm not an expert either so I really do appreciate the suggestions! Decided to name this team after the candelabra of YHVH. (with Chandelure being a candelabra of sorts)

Yeah, I don't intend to use megas for as long as I can afford not to because they're just not pretty. I'm playing the ranked "special" metagame at the moment and it's pretty cool in that regard, since it has only new gen pokémons allowed. I'm also discovering all this stuff as I go, you might have noticed me taking a lot of time once you mega-evolved because I had no idea what your typing or ability would even be! I also ended up surprised Sticky Web attack thing didn't affect Flying types...

I think the lack of tutors pretty much confirms there'll be a Z or X2/Y2, whatever they're doing this time.

It depends on the format you play in.

You'd want something along the lines of Amonguss/Mandibuzz/Vaporeon/Forretress/Blissey/Chandelure maybe

The idea is that Amonguss provides Spore + Toxic Spikes, Mandibuzz provides pure stall and counter-stall with Taunt, Vaporeon can stall and shuffle with Roar, Forretress can lay hazards [Spikes and SR] and spin, Blissey is a special tank and staller and Chandelure [or any ghost] spin-blocks.

If you wanna try some of the newer shit you could run Mega-Banette [Spin-block, priority status moves] and Klefki [priority status and hazards]

Pretty sure those are ALL available in XY, maybe Mandibuzz isn't.
It's really simple, just make sure you have 1 of each hazard [spikes, tspikes and sr, don't bother with web] a ghost type and some shit that can heal up damage, tank special + tank physical, and make sure to have 2 roar/whirlwind on team.

It's the same set you run but Roost just looks kinda dumb on such a frail Pokemon, I think Will-o-Wisp would be better to deal with the new slower threats, all those Mega-Evos [TTar, Mawile, Garchomp, Lucario etc]

As for Aegislash, this guy is strong as fuck because most people don't know how to deal with him.
But he has a fairly predictable play-style.

It's true for most sweepers though. You need to have a counter ready.
Get a Will-o-Wisper. It goes through King's Shield as well. In your case I believe Talonflame could tank a Swords Danced Shadow Sneak in the worst case scenario.

Use a fast sweeper with coverage as your lead and the other two you need to have an anchors in case shit goes bad.

For example I got a 50~ish streak with Greninja, MegaCharizard and Azumarill.
Greninja disposes of their lead 90% of the time, and damages the second one or even KOs it. Then you work from there with the other ones.

Do Super Single battles. 1/2 hour could get you a streak of 30-ish, which is like 70 BP? I dunno.
I get to play it at my job so I made like 400 BP

You've got three available non-31 stats for the Destiny Knot to be choosing. Its not impossible that they could be passing those down.
These Scatterbug I'm breeding at the moment have pentaflawless parents and the ones I've checked, when they're missing stats, its always Attack (which they would have inherited) and only one other (which would have been randomly generated).
I'd love to test this with hexaflawless parents.
