Call me a Hex maniac cuz this bastard appeared immediately after I said to myself that I felt I'd get a shiny soon!
I've never gotten one in safari before either.

I'm fucking speechless. Hell it's not a Metang but I'm happy.

What funny coincidences have you had so far /vp/?

The coincidence is that I have also been Metang shiny hunting and got a stupid shiny Ferroseed instead after like 30 encounters. :(

300 encounters in and no shiny Metang. :c

Found a shiny nosepass a week ago in a horde, wasn't expecting it. Easily caught him.

Got a shiny Mime Jr after shiny hunting for a Roggenrola, that was nice.

Found a shiny Sigilyph as my first pokemon when I went into the area with a ton of stone things, I embarrassingly ran out of pokeballs, so I had to run, felt really stupid of me, but I'll get that one soon enough.

Yeah I plan to. It's gale wings so I was hoping it would be useable competitively. If it was flamebody it would have been nice to have a shiny talonflame for when I'm MM'ing

The shiny rate HAS to be higher, its fucking impossible to run into three shinies in less than two weeks.
