Seriously, they have 3D models and they couldn't do anything except make Pokemon stand there and breathe? Some of them look downright retarded. See: Mega Charizard, Emolga, Skarmory. Flying Pokemon that just float in mid-air.
Gen 5 sprites had quirky little animations that made the battle feel alive.
