My god, you people really don't know?

If a Writ "overwrites" a previously implemented Writ, the NPC will say so. But:

The Silver Writ increases the respawn rate of challengers.
The Gold Writ increases the rewards for beating challengers.
The Black Writ increases the levels of challenger's Pokemon by 20.

Now get back in there and start making dosh.

Yes, and also what unlocks the Black Writ of Challenge.

Just be aware that it'll make E4 and Diantha (when they show up) levels 75-80, so prepare accordingly.

I go to the battle Chateau like every three hours and always the trainers are rotating, so is not a big deal.

This said, if you don't send writs, the profit is just ok.

The main problem though is that I can steamroll them all like 6 times and still not rank up, so I feel like I'm just wasting time and getting absolutely nowhere.

It's like when you have a full level 100 team, and then when walking through a start route, some faggot fisherman that you forgot to battle before sees you and you have to fight his team of 6 level 6 Magikarps. It's not hard, but it's so fucking annoying.

I'm a duke it took me like 2 days to get that. I take Pokemon there to evolve and when they do I switch them out by the time I get back there is at least one more person to battle and when you check rooms they introduce someone over the intercom

By "into the hall" they just mean they've spawned somewhere in the Chateau, not just the main room or surrounding hallway.
