Almost exactly how I feel. I'm not that harsh on Kanto though, it still has a charm, even if it's just a nostalgic one. One of my favorite memories is coming back through Viridian Forest in HG/SS expecting it to be a cheap cop-out like it was in G/S/C, only to find it was a completely redesigned version. Having my Pokemon behind my back with that amazing remix (which the G/S/C was my favorite pokemon music previously) has got to be one of my most favorite memories in pokemon ever, they did a fantastic job.
