Mat Block only has +1 Priority. ESpeed and such bypass it.

3 VGC-legal Pokémon learn ExtremeSpeed, and that still doesn't change the fact that it's OP, otherwise. We'll probably see Greninja on every single team so it can Mat Block while Conkeldurr Focus Punches, Volcarona Quiver Dances, Salamence DD's, etc.

My point is: Anything with more Speed than Greninja can use ANY priority move and smack him.

I say the big problem with it is that it creates a big problem of Volcarona or Salamence. You give Salamence a Yache and Mat Block while it DD's and you're pretty much guaranteed at least 2 KOs. Hell, make a team of Greninja, Conkeldurr, Volcarona, and Salamence and see how it goes.

Fake out. I'm at 1880 rating in doubles and greninja hasn't impressed. Here is a video of the only player I bothered to save using mat block. I just set up SD and sweep with chomp. It is extremely predictable imo.

DDMence is bad in doubles. You can make a case for QD+Mat block though. I was going to do that until I saw +1 priority. FO is nearly always better
