I saved it for Zygarde because I was trying to catch one with a specific nature. Turned out to have pretty solid IVs too, beyond what a legendary defaults with.

Like I said, "cornering." You just chase them around the region for a while, encountering them fair amount of times, then they settle in one location and you can actually battle them. They don't actually get cornered.

You know what would be better? A higher rate of them being where you are, all throughout the story, and then you meet them at the cave no matter what. That way it would be like you've seen it a couple times, it's rare, and then you find its resting place and get to capture it.

This game is the easiest of any pokemon game. There's always someone waiting to heal your pokemon to full health in every cave and hideout.

Hell I rushed through the game and my party was at least five levels below the average trainers and, with no super training, I still pushed everyone's shit in.

The easiest time I ever had capturing a legendary was in gen V. I threw ONE quickball at thundurus and caught him. First try.

The games actually are easier now. Maximum of 3 pokes per gym leader/all the E4 barring Diana, Medic NPCs in almost every cave, EXP share is retardedly broken and you'll end up 20 levels ahead of everything if you don't turn it off as soon as you get it, and you get two starter pokemon instead of just one, one of which comes with a Mega Ultra Super X mode

I might see from where you're coming, though. Might be easier for little kids and such since it's required and all. I don't recall if Reshi/Kyur had higher rates or not.
