I was too little to play Pokemon, but my brother played from Yellow through to Emerald. Emerald was the time where I'd watch too and sometimes even play.
I remember we got the game secondhand, with the trainer named Terry and this motherfucker. Whenever I played I used him and fucked everything up with Shadow Ball. I didn't even know he had no weaknesses. Off topic, but fuck fairies.

I guess MY first would be Charmander, since Firered was MY first game, but you know, this beautiful bastard has more of a place in my heart.
